High School Physical Science Lab

Lily Pad Lab Homeschool Science Labs are designed to give students an opportunity for hands on exploration along side the science curriculum of their choice.  Labs are designed to help students develop a deeper understanding of concepts, connect the book knowledge to real-world applications, apply concepts to new situations and solve authentic problems.  We will focus on developing inquiry and experimentation skills as well as critical, quantitative, and qualitative thinking skills. 

Each lab class will consist of 1-4 labs, simulations, and/or activities focusing on the concepts students are learning at home.  Families are responsible for teaching students content outside of the lab time; including reading, practice work and assessing student progress.

Families are welcome to choose the curriculum of their choice.   

Labs are 2hr long and meet every other week. 

Labs are $115 per semester September – January, February – May.
